Forthcoming Events
Below is a list of forthcoming events to be held at Asti Equestrian. Unless otherwise stated these events are organised by Asti Equestrian and are open to Asti clients and other riders. Everyone is welcome with their own horse or use one of ours. Beginners and experienced riders are catered for in all activities. Events must be paid for when booking. Every Thursday
SHOW JUMPING CLINIC - Run at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm for all ages and abilities.
Monday 30th August
BANK HOLIDAY BONANZA - Buy one private lesson and get a friend to join you for free. Only available on this day.
Tuesday 31st August
ADULTS GYMKHANA - 6pm.
Entries to be in by 29th August. Rosettes to 6th place. See Schedule
Tuesday 31st August
PONY CLUB CENTRE/BRANCH WORKING RALLY. For all abilities - First session 9.30am, additional sessions dependent on numbers.
Saturday 23rd October

Monday 25th October
HELPER’S FUN SESSION - 10.00am–12.00pm. Free session for our yard helpers. Please book in advance.
HELPER’S INTRODUCTION SESSION 12.00pm-1.00pm. For those interested in becoming yard helper. You will need to know how to tack up, handle horses safetly and clean tack. Tuition will be given during the session for anyone who is unsure! Free.
Tuesday 26th October
OBH PONY CLUB WORKING RALLY open to all branch and centre members. All abilities catered for, groups will be spilt according to ability and take part in flatwork, show jumping and cross country. First session 10.00am, additional sessions dependent on numbers. If on lead rein parents or guardian must remain present to lead. Please call Claire Lisi on 01367 710288 to book. £5 – subsidised by The OBH Pony Club. Centre Members may use a yard pony for this rally at a fee of £8.00.
Wednesday 27th October-Thursday 28th October
AUTUMN 2 DAY CAMP - 10.00am–4.00pm. Lots to do and learn. £60 per day or £100 for both days.
Friday 29th October
DRESSAGE CLINIC MORNING - 10.00am–12.00pm. Great practise for all, special benefit for those competing on Saturday. Will include Dressage test practice. For all abilities. Places limited so book early. £25.
Saturday 30th October
COMBINED TRAINING AND CLEAR ROUND JUMPING – 2pm onwards. Dressage (Walk & Trot or Prelim 13) and/or Show Jumping. Schedules available on website or in Tuition Office. All welcome. Lots of prizes and rosettes to everyone. Dressage only £6.50, Dressage and Jumping £12.00 per class, Asti Pony £5. Walk & Trot tests available to download from www.asti-equestrian.co.uk or in tuition office, Prelim 13 can be purchased in our saddlery shop or downloaded from British Dressage website.

CHRISTMAS DISCOUNT WEEKEND. Mince Pies and Mulled Wine to all. Massive reductions on selected items along with discount on all stock (excludes feed & supplements).

DRESSAGE COMPETITION – 2pm onwards. Pony Club Walk & Trot Dressage Test, Prelim 7 (2002) and Prelim 18 (2002). All welcome. Lots of prizes and rosettes to everyone. £6.50 per class. Hire of Asti Pony £5. Tests can be purchased in our saddlery shop or downloaded from Pony Club/British Dressage website. See Schedule.
Friday 24th December
DROP & SHOP MORNING - 10.00am–12.30 noon. Drop off your children to have some fun whilst you get your last minute Christmas Presents in peace. Activities to suit all ages and abilities. £20.
Tuesday 28th December

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
MADE TO MEASURE DAYS - We can provide made to measure days on request during the holiday all we need is 4 or more people adult or child.
PARTIES - For those looking for a party with a difference we can offer horsey parties here at Asti - bring your own food and we'll organise tables, chairs, and horse riding activities for the party group.
OFF ROAD HACKING - We can also offer hacking over local farm land for small groups.
MINI CROSS COUNTRY/SHOW JUMPING/DRESSAGE RALLY - We would be happy to organise mini-cross country jumping/show jumping/dressage rally if enough people are interested. If you would like us to arrange this please speak to your instructor.
TRAINING - We can also provide training for Pony Club exams/Brownie or Guide Exams as required.
HACKING - We can also offer hacking in small group rides over nearby farmland throughout the summer. Ask for details.
